Suncrest Area, Morgantown
 
The Suncrest Area Kiwanis Club is one of two Kiwanis clubs providing a variety of services in the Morgantown/Monongalia County area.  The club also assists "other" activities away from home, providing support to service projects in West Virginia, through the West Virginia District Foundation, and throughout the world through the Kiwanis International Foundation.

One of the underlying objectives of Kiwanis worldwide is to help young people.  Consistent with this objective, our Club directs most of its service funds to projects that focus on children and youth.  These projects involve programs aimed at age groups from prenatal care to college level, and range from making monetary grants to assist in parenting eduction, working with elementary students to improve citizenship, and developing leadership skills in older youth.  Throughout the community, our members are also volunteering their services to beautifying local parks, trails, and roadsides.




West Virginia University's Erickson Alumni Center, located in Suncrest in Morgantown.
